Air Conditioning Duct Filters are great for removing dirt, dust, and other particles from the air flow through the ducts. They help reduce the amount of airborne pollutants that can harm your family’s health. Unfortunately, you may need to replace your AC Duct Filter at some point.
If you have children or pets in the house then you will want to check whether or not your current filter has been properly replaced. If it hasn’t been replaced then it may be time to get a new one installed.
Here’s how to do it:
1) Turn off the power at the breaker box and remove any covers that may be blocking access to cables leading into the room where your AC unit is located.
2) Unscrew all of those screws holding on top of your AC unit in place! Be careful not to break anything as you remove these cover plates so that you can access all of those screws underneath them later on down below; once removed, set them aside somewhere where they won’t get lost
